About the Author

Valerie grew up immersed in stories. Whether it was being an honorary tenth member of the Fellowship of the Ring or slipping through magical portals with the Pevensie children, storytelling has always been a part of her life. Over the years she grew to love stories that feature richly grimdark worlds with morally grey characters, anti-heroes, oodles of atmosphere, and harrowing themes, to which she affectionately refers to as her favorite brand of “gloomcore.” This is exactly how and why Divinity Fallen was born.

Outside of writing, she enjoys reading (duh), spending time with her cats and making sure they are spoiled, eating & cooking good food, playing video & board games, and living her best life with her husband.
